Before being a very good photographer, Maxime Lelong is a very good friend of us. We worked with him for the first time on the “Feel in Color”‘ shooting with Destronics. More than one year after, we had the pleasure to have him as a unit still photographer. Here are part of the pictures he took for the videoclip “Taj Mahal”. Thank you Maxime, we do love you.

There’s lots of good news these days, and it’s all about La//KVLKD. Yeah you’ll hear a lot about them. Kitsuné just announced that the band will be part of the new Kitsuné Parisien Compilation Vol.2. They will be with many great bands like our friends Beataucue (watch our Dj set teaser for them here), Tomorrow’s World (the new band of Jean-Benoît Dunckel from Air), Juveniles and our buddy Pyramid. The compilation is out on February 13th. Don’t forget our music video for La//KVLKD is out since yesterday here.

Just a few words about the new video Etienne Perrin shot for Imetrages last week. This is a very special music video but we’d rather not say what band it is for. You will discover it in a few days so just be patient. The videoclip will be released in the middle of January. So yeah, you’ll have to be patient. Most of that article was made to introduce an amazing photographer, Maxime Lelong. He’s the one who took the picture you can see in the post and he’s also master when it comes to gig concerts. About a year ago, our music video “Symptoms” was elected Best Video Of the year by the blog “Électro Pépère”. “Symptoms” was the first single of La//KVLKD to be released on their first EP. A few days ago, the band published a new video on their Facebook page saying that “big news are coming”. We think it’s gonna be huge and cunning!

You have probably noticed: since a few days ago, the website is written in English. Indeed, our move to London has imposed several changes like this.  We considered that the majority of Francophones who follow us understand English. The blog will be, for the moment, written in two languages. We hope it won’t be a problem for you!

We also want to introduce the new Imetrages team to you that evolved since last year. Romain Bourzeix (1) worked last year on the Destronics’ music video Feel in Color as special effects designer. We decided to recruit him in the team to working on special effects and 3D. Benjamin Ackoun (2) is also a new member. We work with him on Feel in Color too and he’s the new Imetrages executive producer for some projects like the new music video we directed in London this month. Sofiane Daouzli (6) was also director of photography on this shooting and we are proud to work with him in London. Celine Cavaillero (3) is our fashion consultant and photographer and will work with us on different projects in London, mostly specialized in fashion. Quentin Lechemia (5) is a member of Destronics and work with us as composer for different projects. The last one is the short film Bavardages that will be released this year. Yann Rimbaud is the Imetrages web manager and he’s here since the beginning in 2008 like Etienne Perrin (4) who is the founder and main director of Imetrages.

New members will come this year, we are still looking for directors and operators in London and in France. Don’t hesitate to send us your work.

Done! We have made our first music video in Great Britain. One year ago, it was in Miami for the band Victori4 and this month we have worked in London for a new pop artist. You will ear about her for a few weeks. Now, we can’t give more information, this is a work made with Alive Production and the music video will be released at the end of February. The team doesn’t change, Etienne Perrin is the director, Benjamin Ackoun the executive producer and we are proud to work anew with Joss Berlioux. Remember, last time was for Destronics’ music video for the track This Night a Soldier. We will give you more information when we have, for waiting don’t forget to check out the news on Imetrages this week…

Feel in Color is the first single to be released since the release of Digital Naives, the first Destronics’ album.

The music video for the Destronics‘ track Feel in Color has his release date. It will be November 28^th on streaming platforms: Youtube, Dailymotion, Vimeo… It will be the first Destronics’ music video since the release of their album Digital Naive in September. A Facebook event is available. See you next week for this music video directed by Etienne Perrin with the participation of Romain Bourzeix for the special effects.

A few months ago, we filmed a DJ set for them: SomethingALaMode, a French band from Paris who is doing an important number of gigs with the Bloody Beetroots and The Toxic Avenger. The two friends who have worked with Karl Lagerfeld were in Lyon to accomplish the first part of the Bloody Beetroots. The gig was filmed and a part of this video will be available on the website in a few weeks. Few weeks because the Imetrages diary is very busy right now with, among others, the music video Feel in Color from Destronics that arrives very quickly.

In January 2010, we already have worked with the Destronics on The Night a Soldier music video. Things have evolved since this date, starts with the release of their first album: Digital Naives. This album will be available on legal download platforms from September 11^th . The Imetrages team has had the chance to listen to it and we all agree that it is a fantastic work. Following the growing success of the band, we decided to work again together and we chose the track Feel in Color which is in the Digital Naives tracklist. For this collaboration, we are surrounded by several people, including Romain Bourzeix, special effects prodigy who had performed particularly the huge buzz in the video of the bus accident in Lyon which is available here.

Feel in Color music video will be available for the month of November. In the meantime, hurry up listening to Digital Naives, available this Saturday at this page.

Breakbot, Felix Da Housecat, La Roux, Danger, Benjamin Diamond, TEPR… The list could be longer and it’s though the important number of personalities who worked with DatA, an artist who never stopped to grow up in the last years. Steeped in electronic music since 2006, he has released last year his first album Skywriter.One in a Million, Aerius Light, Electric Fever or Rapture are different amazing tracks available on his fantastic album. The artist will do a DJ set at La Plateforme this Friday in Lyon. Imetrages will be here to do an interview for the show “A Live With”.
